The Feast of the East is a fundraiser for the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park and Museum. The popular event is held in October from 6:00pm – 9:30m under the Henry Walston Pavilion at the Whirligig Park. There will be eastern NC foods from local chefs (including a vegetarian option), all you can eat oysters from Eastern NC, delightful drinks and live music.
All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Whirligig conservation. This is a great opportunity to support a local art park, make new friends and enjoy some amazing food and drinks!

This concert series is one of Wilson’s most anticipated annual events. The series, held at the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park, draws thousands of residents and visitors for regional bands, food trucks, frosty beverages, and community fun!
It is co-hosted by Wilson Downtown Development and the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park. In addition to being just an all-around good time, the proceeds from the Gig beverage sales are used to maintain these unbelievable whirligigs, and to program events for the Whirligig Park and Historic Downtown Wilson.
